Alright, beer might just be our Kryptonite! There are SO many fantastic breweries and tap houses in Colorado, we're really not sure where to start. So here are our favorites. But just know that we haven't been to a single one in Colorado that we don't like. Salute!

• Living the Dream - This tops our list... so many delicious beers! My mouth is watering!
• Golden City Brewery - Very small operation, but huge on great flavors!
• Denver Beer Company - Very large (for a micro), and best variety.
• Cerveceria Colorado - Next door to Denver Beer Co, yum!
• Resolute Brewing Company - Goes well with Hong Kong Station (see our favorite eats)
• Locavore Beer Works - Try the Key Lime Kolsch... pucker up!
• New Terrain Brewing Company - Best patio, and the best Hefe in Luna's Orbit!

We can't sustain ourselves on Beer alone! And why would we want to when there are so many culinary delights to be discoverd in the Denver Metro Area. Spoiler alert! When we eat, we like to be eating fantastic food. To us, the venue doesn't necessarily have to be the perfect ambiance in the perfect location, with the best lighting, and the trendiest crowd... or the most expensive tab, for that matter! We just like good food! So keep that in mind when you show up at one of our recommendations and it doesn't have the best ambiance, or the prettiest store-front. Just remember, and I may have mentioned already, we love food! Oh! And we might have a thing for Mexican food specifically!

     Mexican

• Los Dos Patrillos - With various locations on the South side of the Metro Area
• Real De Minas - Various locations, buena camida!
• Las Delicias - Just the basics, but fantastic green chile
• La Loma - OK, so there might be a trendy recommendation here or there. But Yum!
• Mama Sol Cocina - Classic hole in the wall. But THE BEST street tacos ever!
• Adelitas Cocina Y Cantina - Wait! These are awesome street tacos also!

     Asian

• Hong Kong Station - Ask for Jenny and tell her that we sent you!
• Pho Vy - Wonderful sushi... even better vietnamese bowls
• Thai Flavor - Couldn't find a website, but found them on FB. Their curry is the bomb!
• Dancing Noodle - This is a really small restaurant, plan on take out!
• At Nine Thai - Check to make sure they are open before you head out
• Daughter Thai Kitchen & Bar - This one might be trendy also. But awesome!!!

     Italian

• Blue Pan Pizza - Great selection of beer to go with the best Detroit-style pizza!
• Portofino Pizza and Pasta - We still haven't had the pizza. Everything else is SO good!
• Maggianos - Maybe a little mainstream... but it's a consistent go-to for great Italian.
• Esters - Sounds like it might be a diner. It's anything but! Fun environment!
• Big Bills New York Pizza - Eggplant Parmy tastes so good! Fuhgeddaboudit!!!

     Other

• Blue Moon Rino - We don't have a category for beer AND food. But that's where this falls!
• Zaika Indian Cuisine Littleton - Good stuff! Please share your best Indian restaurant!
• Dukes Steakhouse - We smoke better steaks. But when we grab one out, this is the place!
• Sam's Number 3 - For when you have an appetite and you want diner food.

One word... OK, maybe three. Colorado Trail Explorer (COTREX). Not only is it the most comprehensive trail mapping on earth, but it has the best tracking capabilities of anything we've run across. Download the app, the relevent map grids, and you'd have to try real hard to get lost. For every trail they have on record, they give you the appropriate use. For example, we love to take out our side-by-side. However it's 72 inches wide and trails are typically narrower. COTREX allows me to specify trails that'll accommodate a rig greater than 50 inches and gives me all my options. The same is true for finding trails that only allow foot traffic, or mountain bike traffic. It's absolutely the best! See you on the trails!

Have you tried to book a spot recently? Geez, we love our great outdoors, don't we? Reserve WAY in advance or get off the beaten path - but stay on the trail! You can't go wrong with any of the state parks in Colorado. Check them out and reserve your spot at Colorado Parks & Wildlife. Boondocking is always an option and Wild Camping USA has some good suggestions. If you're on the adventurous side and don't mind the hike, check out the state's app COTREX as mentioned above under trails.

With the number of golf courses we have, you'd think that it was 70 degrees and sunny year-round in Colorado! Well, we do get a lot of sun... 70% of the time that there is daylight in Colorado, there is sun shining somewhere! So find the right course, book a tee time, and soak up some of that vitamin C.
